Race rules (86 and 63 km)

Registration

  • Online registration at prijave.argonavtskimaraton.si. Your registration is only valid once the entry fee has been paid. You will receive payment instructions (bank account number, reference number and UPN QR code) upon submitting your registration.
  • On the day of the event, you can register and pay the entry fee at the main event venue. On the day, payment can only be made in cash.

If you require an invoice issued to a tax number, a group registration is mandatory (even if you are registering just one person).

Terms and conditions and important notices

  • A safety helmet is compulsory.
  • A marathon participant is anyone who registers with the organiser, pays the entry fee and wears a visible race number.
  • Each participant must carry an identity card or passport.
  • By collecting their race number, participants confirm that they are familiar with the terms and conditions and agree to them.
  • Participants must ride at a pace appropriate to their level of fitness and must not ride in the slipstream of unregistered cyclists, the organiser’s vehicles or other road users.
  • Overtaking the lead support vehicles is strictly prohibited during the marathon.
  • All participants ride at their own risk; the organiser accepts no liability for any damage caused to equipment or persons.
  • The organiser does not refund entry fees.
  • The event will take place whatever the weather.

By registering, all participants confirm that they are familiar with the terms and conditions of the event, which are published on this website, at the time of registration and as announced over the public address system at the start. The police, the organiser’s vehicles, marshals and medical services will ensure the event runs safely.

We urge participants to respect the environment and to dispose of energy bar and drink wrappers at the refreshment stations.

Medical care

The organiser provides emergency medical assistance (EMA) for marathon participants.

Prizes

The organiser provides all participants with:

  • practical prizes,
  • a commemorative medal,
  • refreshments at refreshment points along the route,
  • lunch at the finish line.

Prize-giving ceremony

Unofficial results will be published no later than 30 minutes after the last participant crosses the finish line, and the prize-giving ceremony will take place 30 minutes after the publication of the unofficial results at the main event venue on Jelovškova Street. The results will be published on the timingljubljana.si website and on this website under Results.

General provisions

Participants ride at their own risk. The organiser is not liable for any damage caused by participants to one another or to third parties. The event is insured. Further details can be found in the general terms and conditions.
