On the day of the event

Schedule Sunday, 27 June 2027

  1. 8:30 Start of the Mali argonavtski maraton (63 km) and the Slovenian Cup race over 63 km (UCI licence: Master G, H, I, J; Women C, D)
  2. 9:30 Start of the Argonavtski maraton (86 km) and the Slovenian Cup race over 86 km (UCI licence: Amateur, Master A–F; Women A, B)
  3. 9:30 Start of the Družinski argonavtski maraton family ride (24 km)
  4. 13:00 Award ceremony (approximate time, depends on when riders finish)

Bib pick-up

On the Saturday before the marathon from 15:00 to 19:00 at the PGD Vrhnika fire station, Jelovškova ulica 3, Vrhnika, and on race day at the main event area.

Award ceremony

The award ceremony is expected at around 13:00. The time depends on when the riders finish.

Parking

Here you’ll find all the information you need for the day of the event: the timetable, car parks and instructions for the start.

Arrival

Only cyclists wearing a clearly visible race number will be allowed access to the starting line.

Start zones

At the start of the Argonaut Mid Marathon (63 km) and the Argonaut Marathon (86 km), cyclists are divided into two start zones:

  1. Zone 1: cyclists with a UCI licence,
  2. Zone 2: cyclists without a UCI licence.

Please note! All participants must cross the start control line. The zones will be marked and separated by tape. Please follow the instructions.

Important information

Official timekeeping takes place at the 86 km and 63 km marks. Cyclists will ride under a 60-minute rolling road closure enforced by the police. Riding outside the time-controlled section is subject to the Road Traffic Regulations (CPP).

Special notice for cyclists in the Slovenian Cup race: due to UCI licence checks, you must be in the starting box no later than 15 minutes before the start.
